CO2 Injection and Storage Risk Assessment Virtual Technology Conference SPE

The SPE Russian Petroleum Technology Conference starts tomorrow, and we are thrilled to be contributing 7 technical papers to the conference as well as acting as members of the program committee. Sharing SPE's desire to advance our ability to meet global energy demands in a safe, environmentally responsible, and sustainable manner, it is important to us to share our experience and research for an improved international oil and gas industry.

Geonaft will be represented by 7 abstracts on the topics of geomechanics and well logging, including:

▪️Application of Machine Learning for Lithology-on-Bit Prediction Using Drilling Data in Real-Time.

▪️Artificial Neural Network as a Method for Pore Pressure Prediction Throughout the Field.

▪️Geomechanical Modelling Application to Support Reservoir Selection for CO2 Utilization and Storage.

▪️Solving the Inverse Problem of Geomechanical Monitoring to Improve the Efficiency of Field Development, to name a few.

Our Chief Engineer, Yuri Petrakov, has also been invited to participate in a Round Table session discussing CO2 Capture and Disposal: Problems and Solutions.

We look forward to sharing our knowledge and learning from other participants.
